I came here with my dog. The room was tastefully decorated, tidy and with a beautiful view. The location was amazing and awesome for Penmaenpool, adjacent to Dolgellau, the the brewery and a cottage right by the bridge. Vegetarian cuisine was served in the refurbished restaurant.

The views from our beautiful double room were amazing, overlooking the serene estuary. Each morning, I basked in the charm of our beautifully refurbished room, with the cozy window seat inviting me to relax and unwind. The friendly staff greeted us with warm smiles, our meals and overall experience were good!

Staying at george iii was a dream! The location is just gorgeous, and our room (double room with garden view) was clean and comfy. We loved the meals, especially the burgers for lunch. What a fantastic view from the newly-refurbished restaurant overlooking the mawdach estuary!
